Features
Embedded / preloaded channel is the closest to the consumer, the most intuitive channel to distribute and buy mobile content, offers an additional revenue channel & increases consumer traction. Content preloads are powered through Tanla License Manager which integrates license management and on – device payment for wireless software applications. It allows the developer / content owner to choose how to best offer or "license" their product to the consumers. Multiple licensing options can exist and they suit for various purposes and business models.
Content Wrapper
Tanla Wrapper is an automated wrapping engine that automatically embeds almost any Java ME (J2ME), Android / Blackberry game or application with the Tanla License Manager without having the source code of the MIDlets. The wrapper offers fully automated enabling of flexible pricing models and storefront integration in applications. This wrapped content will be distributed through the handsets by preloading.
Shop – in – shop
The wrapper GUI carries additional, non – payment / licensing functionality, where the wrapper can be used as an effective up – selling (shop – in – shop) storefront. This includes within application promotion by use of:
  • Banners: Static or Dynamic
  • External Links: Web links to access external web or storefronts for more application downloads or current handset offers web link

Multiple business & licensing models
License Manager facilitate OEMs to create multiple business & licensing models like: Try & Buy, Pay per Play, Pay for multiple sessions, time based rentals: buy for one week, one month etc, full purchase, subscription management (daily, weekly, monthly). A user can enjoy the application preloaded until the validity of subscription package.
Billing
Rights management server is integrated with a complete billing system that offers content providers with convenient payment options. The system has the capability of integrating with both operator and non operator billing platforms. Non operator billing is offered through credit / debit card billing. Operator billing can be offered through premium short codes or WAP billing. The billing happens within the application.
Reporting & Statistics
The solution comes with predefined canned report formats which provide facility to take daily, weekly and monthly reports. It is also possible to take reports based on clubs and app in real time. The system also has facility wherein reports are generated across all clubs and content provider wise data.
